Musink Tattoo Convention & Music Festival
OC Fair & Event Center
March 8, 9 & 10, 2019

Musink Tattoo Convention and Music Festival returned to the OC Fair and Event
Center once again for it's 12th year. This year saw a new set of cars
handpicked by festival founder Travis Barker, two halls of some of the best
tattoo artist, different assortments of booths selling clothing, tattoo care
products, artwork, makeup, tooth gems, and so much more. One of my favorite
booths called Wild Bill's Olde Fashioned Soda Pop where you could purchase
a really cool metal cup and get free unlimited refills all day.

Friday's music started at 5pm with All Hail The Yeti and saw Bleeding Through,
Sick Of It All, Hatebreed and Suicidal Tendencies take the stage throughout the
night. Hatebreed played some of their crowd favourites which included "Tear It
Down", "Destroy Everything" and "Doomsayer". Later Suicidal Tendencies got
the crowd going nuts with songs like "Institutionalized", "Freedumb" and "Cyco
Vision".

On Saturday night it was hip-hop/numetal night with a couple up and comers
called City Morgue and H09909.  Limp Bizkit headlined and definitely brought
some nostalgia for their old school fans with songs like "Nookie", "Break Stuff",
"Rollin", "My Way" and their cover of George Michael's "Faith". Travis did some
drum and dj sets in between bands that night and really hyped the crowd up!

Voodoo Glow Skulls opened up night 3 with songs like "Shoot The Moon",
"Voodoo Anthem" and "Charlie Brown". Anti-Flag went on next and really got the
crowd hyped up with their highly energetic set and interaction with the crowd.
Opening their set with "Die For The Government", "The Press Corpse" and
"Turncoat" while vocalists Justin Sane and Chris #2 were jumping all over the
stage and getting the crowd moshing and ending the set with "Brandenburg
Gate". They definitely  left the crowd wanting more. Their set was followed by
T.S.O.L. and the Dead Kennedys who performed their hits like "Kill The Poor",
"Nazi Punks Fuck Off" and "Holiday In Cambodia".  Fear performed their hit
song "I Love Living In The City" as the crowd started a large circle pit.  The
Vandals closed out the festival with songs like "Oi To The World", "Pirate's Life"
and "Urban Struggle".

Musink is always a fun weekend of music and tattoos and founder Travis
Barker always manages to bring us one killer festival every single year!
